Bisexuality..has been a trend
I read an article in my University’s newspaper today (Howard University to be exact. *Howard Hand* wooop! wooop!) Ok that’s enough now. Any who, it begged the question “Is bisexuality becoming a new trend?” or something to that effect. I laughed, because bisexuality has been a trend for the past 5 years. I know when I was in high school girls were “coming out the closet” left and right. Although, only about 10% of the girls were telling the truth ..smh. But it was still a trend back then. It would be a better question to ask whether or not it’s a trend to be straight these days.
I just can’t see sexual orientation as being a trend. That’s kinda messed up if you think about it. It’s like saying being clinically obese is a trend. Being clinically obese is never a favorable option and most people who are clinically obese probably can’t help it.
In my opinion bisexuality is not a trend, because I don’t think people can choose who they are attracted to. It’s funny though, because some girls say things like “I’m not gay, I just want to see how it is to be with a girl” They will swear up and down that they are as straight as a line. No sweetie..you have a label as well..its call BI-CURIOUS.
I want some thoughts from you though. How do you feel about bisexuality? Is it a choice or is it something that just is? Do you feel bisexual people are just trying to play both sides of the field? I just want input!

Some pastors are the worst..
My mother listening to some pastor om tv and of course he was talking about teens. It seems to be a hot topic since teens are the future of America. Anywho..they were talking about how parents should pick their boyfriend or girlfriend becuase teens are immature and only go for the athletes, cool kids..you know the ones. The pastor then continued to discuss how being gay is wrong and that if you can’t reproduce with your mate you shouldn’t be with them. My immeadiate reaction to all these statement was anger. I can’t fathom why the hell I should listen to some man who takes “donations”..yea sure..who doesn’t know what kind of man I like…who doesn’t know what I’ve been through. I don’t understand why people have to throw the Bible at everything to try and cure it.
Number 1: If a female wants to be with a female or a male with a male..what does that have to do with you? Is that person physically harming you in anyway? So why are you trying to change their lifestyle if your not even in their life? You think you know so much because you have that lil book in your hand..but you don’t know anything about that person. Has it ever occurred to you that they don’t want your “help”? Or that maybe they hate you? Maybe you should consider these things before you break out your lil cure-all (Bible) and try to heal somebody.
Number 2: When I was a teen in high school I did all the things that were expected to be done as a teen. They are called milestones. So if I want to say “I dated the quarterback of so n so” let me say it. Let’s see I’m 16 and I really like this person but my parents said because your not right for marriage then I can’t date you. High school is for these lil not so serious relationships. If that’s the case then everyone would have 1 bf or gf and marry them from the age of 15.. Lol you expect a teen boy to stay faithful in his high school years. Granted they are out there but damn its the teens years..if he wanna be a hook-up artist let him do it. Now a days the girls are doing it too. But its their choice..thats the point I’m trying to make. And to even make the statement that teens should let their parents choose their mate during their teens years is idiotic to me. (jus got into an argument jus now by the way..this is what I’m talking about). Teens will never learn if you keep letting their parents do everything for them. Experience can be a good teacher sometimes.
Number 3 Where is your life? You must not have one if your going on crusades against the gays and teens..please go do something more productive like a mission in Ethiopia..i bet you they won’t go because they have to do their “work” in America. Although on one block I have seen 3 churches. Do things from the heart if you really mean it.
